Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary was formed in 1889 by Glory Church (now Glory Presbyterian Church), as a primary school for Chinese students in Singapore. The previous principal is Miss Chan Lai Peng and Vice principal is Mrs Betty Tong. The school is located at Pei Wah Avenue in Bukit Timah. The school has a new building of 7 storeys, after its previous structure was torn down and rebuilt over the past 2 years. One of the many state-of-the-art facilities in the school includes an air-conditioned multi-purpose hall, a sound-proof Chinese Orchestra studio, a Dance studio, a Life Science laboratory(i didn't knew we had this), a Robotics studio, an e-music studio, a multi-media suite for video and post video production, a theatrette, a heritage room, a "vineyard" for pupils to meet up with recess prayer leaders, an "oasis" for pupils to self-study, an open terrace for drinks and snacks, a table-tennis room, a room to promote Chinese culture, drama and literature room, the Fishermen's Place(i forgot we had this) to nurture entrepreneurship in pupils and a studio kitchen.
It is regarded as among the top sought after schools in Singapore as it produces many scholars of the Primary 6 Primary School Leaving Examination(PSLE) every year.
It is also a SAP school that emphasizes on both the the English and Chinese Language.
